I am an experienced classroom teacher with an extensive background in literature and writing. I also have a thorough knowledge of the new SAT and TOEFL iBT along with professional training on how to help students prepare for these exams. Most of all, I have a passion for teaching and a heart for junior high and high school students. My students love my dynamic teaching style and creative learning activities, and I strive to make my lessons fun and educational at the same time. My educational background and classroom experience have prepared me to work with students on a variety of academic subjects. I received my B.A. in English from UCLA, where I was a departmental honors scholar and cum laude graduate. I am also currently a candidate for an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Biola University. In the past few years, I have taught at such respected educational institutes as Berlitz, Kaplan Aspect, GEOS, and Fairmont Academy in California. I look forward to meeting with you!
