Are you: A parent seeking piano lessons for your child? An adult who always wanted to study piano but never quite got around to it? A singer or instrumentalist who can use piano as a supportive tool for learning and rehearsing? I come from a solid classical background and have branched out during my years of musical performance and training to include other, more popular genres, as well. I base my teaching on classical piano method, which includes solid keyboard technique and classical repertoire. Theory and music-reading are an indispensable part of piano instruction and prepare the student to continue with keyboard, other instruments, or vocal music. For students who are interested, we can include other styles of music, including popular, show music, ragtime, etc.
